Davy Wotton is not a native of
Arkansas or the United States. Born in Wales he grew up fishing in the historic home of
the sport of fly fishing. Thirty eight years of professional angling and fly tying lead
Davy to the White River, which is now his base for his fly fishing schools and guide
business. No one knows the prolific waters of the White River and North Fork River better!
In this feature-length video Davy shares with you his knowledge of these rivers and the
best angling techniques for fishing them.
Big water and fluctuating flows are characteristics
of the White and North Fork Rivers. In this production Davy helps you understand how to
meet the challenges of high water. Shoals are key to fishing on these rivers. All of the
most important ones are explored in detail. In addition Davy shows the most significant
access points for both wade and boat angling.
Expert instruction is what you'll receive throughout
the presentation. Davy is a fly fisherman of nearly unmatched skill. The detail he shares
with you will help you approach the White with confidence. In addition to showing
traditional methods of indicator and streamer fishing, he imparts some of his famous wet
fly techniques. To round things out Davy goes over his most productive flies for the White
River.
Davy
Wotton's Wet Fly Selections Wet flies have a universal appeal to trout,
no matter where they live. Many other fish species can be caught using wet flies,
including warm and saltwater species. Davy offers two sets of fly selections which include
some of the best, overall flies to use for trout. There are
